Marc Brütsch joined Swiss Life after completing his studies in economics and journalism at the University of Zurich in 1993. He has held the position of Chief Economist since March 2000. He spent two periods abroad – one in the UK in 1996/1997 and one in France in 2022/2023.
Marc Brütsch has been a member of the Extended Executive Committee of Swiss Life Asset Managers since 2006. In addition to his professional activities, he sits on two executive committees at the University of St. Gallen (at the Institute of Finance, Financial Law and Law and Economics and the Institute of Economics).
