After completing a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance and Accounting at the University of Zurich, Jürg Zimmermann started his career as a Corporate Finance Manager at Ernst & Young AG in 2000. In 2004 he joined UBS as an M&A Manager in the Group Strategic Advisory area. In 2008, he was a Project Leader in Financial Services & Corporate Development Practice at The Boston Consulting Group. He then worked for UBS as a Senior Strategist in the Corporate Development area. Following a position as Senior Manager Financial Services M&A at Ernst & Young AG, he returned to UBS in 2011 where he held various management positions in Corporate Banking up to 2018. In 2018 he joined Swiss Life Asset Managers as Head of Corporate Development. He assumed the additional role of CFO Real Estate in 2021.
Jürg Zimmermann has been CFO of Swiss Life Asset Managers since 1 July 2023, and a member of the Executive Committee in this capacity.
