On completing a degree in economics at the University of Zurich, Carmelo Gemelli began his career at Credit Suisse Group in 2000, where he held various management positions in e-Business and information division. From 2008 to 2014, he was Chief Information Officer for Asset Management Switzerland and EMEA. In 2014, he joined UBS and managed the Client Coverage Technology and IT Switzerland areas at UBS Asset Management.
Carmelo Gemelli has been Chief Technology Officer of Swiss Life Asset Managers and member of the Executive Committee of Swiss Life Asset Managers since 1 November 2018.
